Agar Cottage is spacious and comfortable and has been redecorated throughout.

Sitting Room

A large cosy sitting room with the front door opening into it. There are two sofas, three arm chairs, an old tall settle and coffee tables. There is also a TV and DVD player. The sitting room has a wood burner and logs and kindling are in box next to the wood burner. More logs can be bought from us or locally.

Dining Room

Large oak dining table. Oak wheel back dining chairs and carver. Also a high chair.

Conservatory

A small conservatory leads off the dining room.

Kitchen

The kitchen is separated from the dining room by a dividing set of units. The kitchen is fitted with limed oak units and is in two halves in an 'L' shape. There is a double oven with a conventional and fan assisted oven with an extractor fan over. A dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave,

kettle, food processor, steam iron and vacuum cleaner make up the electrical appliances. Tea towels and basic cleaning materials are provided. The kitchen is well equipped with china and glass and cooking implements.

Shower Room

There is a downstairs shower room with electric shower, heated towel rail, loo and basin.

Courtyard

Doors from the dining room and kitchen lead onto the paved courtyard. There is a garden table and chairs and a barbecue. The courtyard is enclosed and private.

Bedroom 1

Double bed with duvet and pillows. Two chests of drawers, bed side cupboard and large hanging cupboard.

Bedroom 2

Two single beds with duvets and pillows. Dressing table, chest or drawers and hanging cupboard.

A travel cot and changing mat are available.

Bedroom 3

This is a smaller bedroom with two single beds and duvets and pillows, one chest of drawers and a hanging cupboard.

Bathroom

This has been completely modernised and comprises bath, basin, loo, shower and heated towel rail.

General Information

All furniture reaches the fire safety regulations and there are smoke detectors and fire blankets. The cottage has modern electric wall heaters which are kept on during the winter and the colder months. Bed linen and bath towels are provided, but you will need to take your own beach towels.

Electricty is included in the rental.

Broadband - this is available at no extra charge and phones can be connected through wi-fi.

Parking - on the quiet road opposite the cottage and behind next to the garage.
